Location: Denver, CO
$5mm repurposing of and addition to an existing church and school. Synergy-RE attracted a new capital source to realize the community’s vision of repurposing a vacant elementary school into an affordable assisted living neighborhood.
Synergy-RE rendered architecture, development, construction management, operations, and general management services. Project required extensive asbestos abatement and was constructed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Heatherwood Village
Assisted Living
Location: Pueblo, CO
Dates: 2011-2013
Role: Architect
Project renovated a 2-story existing 26-bed assisted living facility. This project fell out of compliance with State Medicaid requirements. Synergy provided architecture, submittal drawings, and construction observation of fire barriers, kitchen equipment, egress components, and fire sprinkler systems.

Mesa Spirit
Adult Community
Location: Rock Springs, WY
Dates: 2012-2015
Role: Architect of Record, Design Architect, Project Manager
Project repurposed 2 near vacant 1970’s medical office buildings. The 2 buildings were redesigned to serve 32 skilled nursing beds and 16 post acute rehabilitation beds. New construction, connected by an overhead, enclosed bridge, was designed to serve an additional 128 skilled nursing beds.
Synergy-RE prepared the offering memorandum, architectural plans, project schedule, and land acquisition due diligence.
